The total funding pool for the Coastwest grants program for projects has doubled to $2million.
Up to $150,000 is available for individual projects.
The grants pool is funded through a partnership between the WA Planning Commission and the Federal Government.
Partnerships of community groups and coastal managers - local governments, Aboriginal Land Councils and State Government departments - have until Monday, March 28 to apply for the 2011 grants.
In the past, funding has been awarded to a wide range of projects, including dune rehabilitation schemes, improvements to paths, new viewing platforms and programs to tackle the problem of marine debris.
