This ‘magazine style’ website has been especially designed as a relaxed way for people who live in the bush to keep track of regional issues.
As Chairman of the Rural and Remote Educational Advisory Council I hope it will also be a fun learning tool for kids in regional schools.

I have a policy that ‘no road is too long or too dusty’. However, with an electorate which stretches from Kalbarri to Bremer Bay and out to Merredin, I wanted to find a way to keep in touch with all of you at once. So this is a hands-on website. My staff and I write and design it, so we can bring a little bit of ourselves direct to you. You can bring yourself direct to me by clicking the Contact button.

WA has the largest proportion of overseas-born people in Australia, with more than half a million people - nearly 27 per cent of the population - born overseas. There are over 200 countries of origin, and more than 270 languages spoken. (WA State Budget 2010-11)
